MARKD — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 6 June 2026 · App: MARKD (com.vyanmo.markd) · Contact: ptahiliani26@gmail.com

MARKD is a location-based territory game: you walk the real world and the tiles you walk on become yours. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

How we use it

To run the game (claim tiles, sync the shared map, leaderboards, teams), send game notifications, keep play fair (basic anti-cheat), and fix bugs / improve MARKD.

Sharing & processors

Data is processed by Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, Analytics) as our service provider. Other players can see public gameplay info you create — your display name, team and claimed territory on the map (never your email or real-time precise location).

Data retention & security

We keep account and gameplay data while your account exists. Data is sent over HTTPS and protected by Firebase security rules. You can request deletion of your account and data anytime (see Contact).

Children

MARKD can appeal to younger players. We don't knowingly collect more data than needed to play, we don't show behavioral ads, and location is used only during active play. Parents/guardians who want a child's data removed can contact us.

Your choices

Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change.
